DAQ

The gaines were determined wrong on the hit level and cause gaps.

Start detector

The background in the time spectra of the start detector are partially understood. It comes from starts which do not cause a trigger when a real trigger follow in a time interval of 35ns. Why there is no deadtime gap just in front of the peak remains open. The increasing time resolution with increasing HV is not yet understood.

ZDO

The ZDO shows about the same multiplicity spectra with and without fast clear. (High multiplicity bump).

PID

A typical detector shows good results for z<=4. The bands show problems for He4< 1000# as the 3He/4He ratio changes. At low statistics the 9Be band finds sometimes the 7Be branch. Uli recommends a extrapolation aid from p,4He. He also suggests to find the bands from high to low energies as the slopes are less.

Punch through

The approach to find the punch troughs by a fitting routine failed. The fits are quite arbitrarily. Walter claimes that a normal linear regression won't work. Michael should try it with minimizing distances.

Mechanics

Catania and GSI hodoscopes are measured and digitized, the other will follow.
