TARGET OPERATIONS

INTRODUCE THE TARGET WHEN THE SAS IS AT ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE AND THE TARGET HOLDER IS DOWN
(page 10 of the superviseur).

• Check the pressure sensor (on the sas).
  

• Open the door.
  

• Introduce the target (target positionned towards forward angles).
  

• Close the door.
  

• Click on POMPAGE.
  Confirm by clicking in the pink command zone on POMPAGE then on ENTREE. The sequence is automatic : the PM (mecanical pump) and the MOL (molecular pump) are in operation (green), first the pumping uses the VANNE PROPORT then valves VB2SAS and VBSAS. Following this, the valve VPSAS opens and VBSAS and VB2SAS close.
  

  Check that the Pirani pressure is around 0.1 volt and that the valve VASAS is closed.
  

• The message ON PEUT OUVRIR LA VANNE SAS appears on the top of the screen.
  

• Click on OUVERTURE VANNE.
  Confirm by clicking in the pink command zone on OUVERTURE then on ENTREE.
  

• Click on MONTEE.
  Confirm by clicking in the pink command zone on MONTEE then on ENTREE.
  

• The message MONTEE EN COURS appears. The target is in the up position when FDC HAUT is red.
  

PLEASE CHECK : The angle of the target is normaly 0 degre but during operation the angle can reach 1.5 degre.
Don't worry : the MOL will fonction for 1 hour after the target is in the up position.
