The KP3 Figure Repository

Many figures from publications, talks as well as diploma and PhD theses are available as individual files. Please note:

Only PostScript figures can be made available in this fashion. Scanned images in DEC IMG format and DECwrite/DECpresent drawings have to be captured from the PostScript file of the full document.
The figures are in encapsulated PostScript form, that means they contain a %%BoundingBox: comment but no %%Page: comments. Those files can therefore be directly included in other documents.

Local access for KP3 division

The figures are stored under

/u/kp3web/www/ps-files/...

where the subdirectory name depends on the publication. If you want to determine the local filename put the pointer onto the anchor of the figure you want to use. Netscape will display the URL in the message area. An URL like

http://www-kp3.gsi.de/www/ps-files/fig/phd_kreutz_1992/dalitz_all_v2_i.eps

translates into a local filename on the Linux cluster of

/u/kp3web/www/ps-files/fig/phd_kreutz_1992/dalitz_all_v2_i.eps
